About Us

We are SafePlace International Youth Advocacy Network. SPEAK OUT, WE CARE

It is a pleasure that I introduce you to the SafePlace International Youth Advocacy Network, which has been established as a non-governmental organization to contribute to the transformation of our society, to the betterment of the lives, and to improving the relevance of the youth of Sierra Leone.

Our Mission

Safe Place has been established to empower the youth of Sierra Leone and to amplify the voices of young people, advocating for their rights and for creating positive change in their communities and beyond.

We will also be providing a forum available to young people where they will be able to seek help, without the fear of being judged or criminalized, but rather where they will be welcomed and assisted to overcome their challenges.

Our Vision

The vision of safe place is to create an environment in which every young person has the opportunity to thrive, to be heard, and to make a meaningful impact in their lives, in the lives of others, and in the community of which they are part of.

Meet the people who make our work possible

SafePlace is powered by passionate people who are committed to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for the people of Sierra Leone.
